Corsica: The jewel in the Med

It is rare I get to spend any amount of time taking photos for pleasure. At the end of April I seized the chance to do just that - on the beautiful island of Corsica. Fantastic, secluded beaches, hilltop villages, rugged coastline, mountain ranges - it was all there, and the kind of environment I enjoy most to point my camera at.
Along with a colleague, we focussed our attention to the North West, and armed with our cameras, followed the coast up towards the top, then dropped down inland, through the Gorges of Restonica and to the foothills of the mountains. We were even greeted by a heard of goats that willingly modelled for us for nearly two hours.
It was over 20 years I visited it last - nothing has changed much. Nor has my love for the place.
